What’s your pickleball rating?

Most pickleball players have a number in their head, whether it’s a 3.0, a 3.5, or “about a 4.0,” but few are sure it’s accurate. Rating yourself too high gets you run off the court in open play, and rating yourself too low keeps you out of games that would make you better. This quiz gives you an honest answer in about three minutes. Answer sixteen questions about your serve, return, dinking, third shot, volleys, transition, strategy, and match play, and you’ll get your estimated skill level on the 2.0 to 5.5+ scale, a breakdown of your strengths and weaknesses, and the videos and articles from SportsEdTV coaches that will help you fix the skill holding you back. Answer how you play in a normal game, not your best day.

How Well Do You Know the Rules of Pickleball?

You’ve played hundreds of games, but could you make the right call on a momentum fault, a serve that clips the net, or a ball that hits you while you’re standing out of bounds? Our pickleball rules quiz puts you in real game situations and asks you to make the call. Each round gives you 18 questions drawn from a bank of 100, covering serving and scoring, the kitchen, and faults and line calls, all based on the 2026 USA Pickleball rulebook. After every answer, you’ll see the correct call and the rule behind it, so you learn as you play. Take it again for a fresh set of questions, then share your score and see if your playing partners know the rules as well as you do.
