Toccara Williams,
Basketball Coach
Toccara Williams is a former point guard who played for the WNBA San Antonio Silver Stars during the 2004 season. Prior to playing in the WNBA, she played college basketball at Texas A&M University from 2000-2004. In her senior year, she led the nation for steals per game among Division I teams with an average of 4.1 steals per game. Williams is the only player in NCAA history to record a steal in every game she's ever played (111) and she's also a class of 2016 SEC Legend. She's the all-time steal leader at Texas A&M University with 452.
Toccara was then selected in the third round of the 2004 WNBA Draft and played professionally overseas in Turkey, Korea, China, and Israel. Williams now has a non profit organization called Sweet Rebound that is geared towards the youth by utilizing sports as a platform for education, in addition to running her own girls basketball training academy. During the regular season, Williams is the head girls basketball coach at The University School in Davie, Florida.
