Steve Atherton is a two-time Colorado PGA Teacher of the Year and a PGA Master Professional in Instruction. Steve was selected as one of Golf Digest’s Top 40 Teachers Under 40 from 2008 to 2016.
As Vice President of Instruction for GolfTEC from 2001 to 2012, he trained over 600 professionals and conducted ground-breaking research on the golf swing, golf teaching technology, effective coaching, and learning behavior.
He has written articles and created video content for numerous golf media including feature articles in GOLF Magazine and Golf Digest. He is a graduate of the Mississippi State University Professional Golf Management program, and has taught golf all over the globe at such prestigious clubs as Sankaty Head GC, Olympia Fields CC, Merion GC, Eagle Springs GC, and Queenwood GC.
He is the Teaching Professional at Eagle Springs Golf Club in Wolcott, CO.
