Roberto Borgatti,
Executive Director, Golf

Roberto Borgatti is a world-renowned professional who enjoys teaching players on all levels. He is the author of A Swing You Can Trust, praised by CBS golf anchor Ian Baker-Finch as a “golfing bible”. “It’s all about helping players achieve their goals,” Borgatti says. “Removing the mystery and frustration, and bringing players more enjoyment and confidence.”

A “teacher’s teacher,” Roberto works with tour players and top amateurs, and frequently helps aspiring PGA candidates pass the Player Ability Test. He is based in Florida at the Resort at Longboat Key Club in the winter, where he coaches such golf luminaries as Arlene McKitrick, winner of 244 tournaments worldwide. Roberto brings to SportsEdTV an extraordinary track record that includes a group of three novice golfers breaking 80 their first calendar year and many senior golfers playing their best golf well into their 70s and 80s.

In the summer, Roberto splits his time between coaching at his Sky Golf Center, aptly named for its location on the 39th floor overlooking Manhattan, and Crystal Cruises, where he leads TaylorMade Golf seminars and playing clinics for an international clientele. He hosts golf excursions around the world, taking players to more than 50 countries over 6 continents.

Roberto has been featured on the PGA Tour Network and Europe’s Canal+, and The Golf Passport Show. He hosts The PGA Show Awards, which honors golf’s best equipment, technology and training innovations.

When not teaching golf, Roberto performs as a professional opera singer in NYC and other cities around the world.
