Rob Stocke,

Rob Stocke, coach to PGA tour players and golfers at all levels, has been Director of Instruction at Long Cove Club on Hilton Head Island since 2018.

Rob has been Georgia PGA North Chapter Teacher of the Year and featured on CBS Evening News, The Golf Channel, USA Today, HGTV, YES Network, and PGA Magazine.

He designed a state-of-the-art learning center, “The Cove,” which features two indoor/outdoor bays, Swing Catalyst, FlightScope, SAM Putt Studio, and Perfection Platforms adjustable putting platform.

He has been named a GRAA Elite Teaching Professional 2020-2023, Future Champions Master Coach, Future Champions Golf Top 25 Elite Coach, GRAA Top 50 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional 2015-2019; and has been ranked the 11th best instructor in golf rich Georgia.

He is a Future Champions Top 50 Elite Junior Instructor, honorably mentioned as a US Kids Top 50 Junior Instructor. He has been a featured presenter at the PGA Teaching & Coaching Summit “Teaching with Technology.”

Rob is on several National Advisory Boards/staff, including Cobra/Puma Ambassador and the PGA Magazine Instruction Advisory Board.

He was the 2011 PGA Magazine Ambassador of the Year, served on the PGA Education Adjunct Faculty 1998-2012 1998, was Dixie Section Assistant of the Year, and was one of the first 5 PGA Professionals to be awarded Certification in Instruction.

Before joining Long Cove Club, Rob was the Director of Instruction at White Columns Country Club 2016-2018 and The Golf Club of Georgia 2001-2016. He taught and assisted at several clubs, including The Atlanta Athletic Club, Old Overton Club in Birmingham, AL; Johns Island Club in Vero Beach, FL; Elk River Club in Banner Elk, NC; and was an Assistant Director for Golf Digest Schools in Tarpon Springs, FL.

A member of the PGA since April 1997, Rob attended college at Mississippi State University and Millikin University and has a degree in Creative Writing. Rob is married to his wife, Christy, and has two sons, Hank and Noah.
