Prof. Dr. Marcelo Haiachi,

Dr. Haiachi is a faculty member at the Federal University of Sergipe, Brazil, serving as a professor in the Department of Education Physics.

He holds a Doctorate in Human Movement Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and a Masters Specialist in Team Sports/ Volleyball/Mini Volleyball & Sitting Volleyball as well as a Masters Generalist in Sports Management, Administration and Marketing.

Dr. Haiachi’s research includes: Advancement of Sports Sciences, Olympic and Paralympic Research, Badminton for All, Research & Technical Development of the Badminton Federation, and Adapted Physical Education

His Memberships include:

  • Research Center on Public Policies for Physical Education, Sports, Leisure and Sports Adapted from the State of Sergipe (SCENARIOS / UFS);
  • Center for Olympic and Paralympic Studies (CEO / UFRGS);
  • Project and sporte Brazil (PROESP / UFRGS);
  • Center for Development of Research on Policies of Sport and Recreation of Sergipe (CDPPEL / Network Cedes);
  • Center of Sciences of the Sport of Confederation Brazil threshing Badminton (NCE / CBBD conference).

Dr. Haiachi has been the leader of Group of Research in Studies Olympic and Paralympic Games (GPEOP / UFS); Group of Research in Education Physics and Esportes Adapted (GPEFEA / UFRRJ) and coordinator of Project Paradesportivo Sergipe

As an Associate Editor, he has supported the Brazilian Journal of Education, Technology, and Society (BRAJETS) and consulted with Northern Virginia Volleyball Center (NVVA) Volleyball Genome.
