Noelle Pikus Pace,
Senior Contributor

Noelle Pikus Pace is an Olympic silver medalist, two-time world champion, and one of the most decorated skeleton athletes in U.S. history. She made global headlines at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics when she emotionally celebrated her silver medal win by jumping into the stands to embrace her family, earning the title of the U.S. Olympic Committee’s “Moment of the Games.”

Noelle’s journey to the podium was marked by both adversity and extraordinary resilience. After reaching the No. 1 world ranking in 2005, a devastating bobsled accident forced her to miss the 2006 Torino Olympics. Undeterred, she returned the following year to win the World Championship—becoming the first American woman to do so, and by the widest margin ever recorded in the sport.

She went on to compete in the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and ultimately fulfilled her lifelong dream in Sochi in 2014. With 26 World Cup medals and a fierce dedication to excellence, Noelle is a powerful example of perseverance in sport.

Off the ice, Noelle holds an MBA, is the author of Focused, and is a mother of four. She now devotes her time to speaking, mentoring, and coaching athletes and performers across disciplines—sharing insights on mental toughness, performance mindset, and overcoming setbacks. As part of the SportsEdTV community, Noelle brings a wealth of elite-level experience and a passion for helping others succeed.
