Mike Scully,

Mike Scully - whose "second career" has developed into three decades in the golf industry is a former college and pro footballer as an offensive lineman.

He is currently the Director of Golf at Cherry Creek Country Club in Denver. Along the way he has managed storied golf clubs, Medinah Country Club, Desert Mountain and the Forest Country Club.

During those tenures he was instrumental in staging the 2006 PGA Championship along with the 2012 Ryder Cup. During his time at Desert Mountain he was in charge of hosting the Charles Schwab Cup from 2013 - 16.

Scully studied communications at the University of Illinois, where he played on the 1984 Rose Bowl Team. He has a hospitality Management degree from Roosevelt University in Chicago.

He also played for the Washington Football Team and Kansas City Chiefs. Scully and his wife Kristie have two sons Jack and Peyton. Scully's older daughter Taylor resides in Chicago.
