Michael Sirota, Hall of Fame Inductee and Global Para-Taekwondo and Therapeutic Martial Arts pioneer has been immersed in martial arts since childhood. For twenty-nine years, he has been operating ethically successful martial arts schools in Vancouver, Canada.
Entering the new millennium, Michael embarked on a new path of teaching martial arts-based programs to people with special needs and various impairments. What started as a small project has grown internationally.
Over the years, his schools have welcomed thousands of people living with various impairments. He has also been instrumental in globalizing Para-Taekwondo, presenting at conferences, conducting instructor courses, designing Para-Taekwondo Instructor Certification Courses, and spearheading the Global Para-Taekwondo movement.
It is his mission to use the tool of martial arts to facilitate empowerment in one million people and promote the ‘Abilities in All’. As a global pioneer of Para-Taekwondo, he continues to share his expertise and passion via various portals including sirotasalchymy.com Sirota’s Martial Arts and Life Skills Center
