Michael C. Rhoads, Ph.D. is a lecturer in the Department of Psychological Sciences a Metropolitan State University of Denver.

He attained his M.A and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado, in Greeley, Colorado, and a B.S. in Psychology from Newman University, in Wichita, Kansas.

Michael played volleyball in college at Newman University. Michael coached indoor volleyball for over ten years, and beach volleyball for three years.

He has a variety of research interests including the link between music and motivation, the influence of visually-enhanced feedback on motor learning, the cognitive benefits of exercise, and the mental health benefits of yoga therapy.
