Melissa Piercell BScH, ND,

Melissa Piercell graduated from the University of Windsor with an honors degree in Neuroscience. She then decided to further her education by completing the four-year Naturopathic Doctor program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. To achieve the Naturopathic Doctor title, Melissa passed two sets of licensing exams and the Ontario Naturopathic Board Exams.

Today, Melissa strives to encourage her patients to take an active role in their health in order to enjoy a balanced lifestyle. Her services for her patients include Nutritional Medicine, Acupuncture, Botanical Medicine, Homeopathy, Physical Medicine, Lifestyle Counselling, Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, Reiki and Bowen Therapy. She practices in an eclectic way, using all of her training tools to provide the best care for her patients, young and old.

She currently works with national athletes and is the Naturopathic Doctor for the National Ballet of Canada. It is through specialized nutritional programs and supplementation protocols that she helps these athletes be their best.

She lectures at University of Toronto, York University, with numerous sports teams, and for corporate wellness groups around the GTA.

Melissa has a special interest in motivating her patients to improve their lifestyle and performance, by making changes that are long-term and realistic. As an avid runner herself, she stresses the importance of remaining well nourished while active. Melissa is a Mother of 3 boys under 6 and is learning new lessons from them every day about how to prioritize health amongst chaos!
