Mark Jeffery,
Senior Contributor

Mark Jeffery teaches the one skill almost no one trains: performance under pressure — the gap between the match you narrowly lose and the one you narrowly win.

A former Army tennis champion in singles and doubles, Mark came to his method not through sports science but through soldiering, where skills are drilled under simulated pressure until instinct takes over. Years later, after losing a Wimbledon match from two match points to his own nerves, he asked why no such trainable instinct existed for tennis — and spent five years building one. The result is TRUST.

He proved it on his own body: after a severe stroke left him unable to walk, the same method taught him to walk again.

With Grand Slam coaches Vlado Platenik and Dan Kiernan, Mark is marrying elite human coaching with AI — Clutch Command — to bring pressure-driven training to any player, anywhere. Their book, Trust the Training, Sir, is on its way.

Discover your Clutch Quotient — the number underneath your rating.
