Mac Moody is a PPR Professional Certified pickleball instructor and player sponsored by Engage Pickleball. Mac’s journey in racquet sports began years ago, fueling a deep commitment to both learning and teaching with genuine passion. As a dedicated instructor, Mac teaches pickleball with a focus on technique, strategy, and mental preparedness, always striving to help others learn and enhance their skills. She believes every player can improve, regardless of experience level, and tailors her approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. Her lessons feature personalized feedback, skill-building drills, and uplifting encouragement to foster confidence on the court. Whether guiding beginners or seasoned competitors, Mac creates a supportive environment that motivates players to reach their goals.

Mac’s diverse athletic background includes gymnastics, competing in and teaching tennis, completing three triathlons, and earning a black belt in Taekwondo. These experiences have shaped her understanding of athleticism and discipline, which she now incorporates into her pickleball instruction. Drawing on cross-training techniques and mindset strategies, Mac helps her students develop both physically and mentally.

Since her introduction to pickleball in Naples, Florida in 2015—and her subsequent gold medal at the US Senior Pickleball Championships—Mac has been actively engaged as an instructor since 2019 at both indoor and outdoor facilities in Florida, including Pickleplex and Pickleball Tennis-US at Latitude Margaritaville in Panama City Beach. She further demonstrated her leadership by serving as Tournament Director for the World Pickleball Championships in 2020 and 2021. Through her teaching career, she has had the privilege of working with people from all backgrounds and watching them grow not only as players but also as teammates and friends.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Mac values time spent with her husband and family. Together, they explore Florida’s coastal regions, engage in community activities, and share a mutual appreciation for athletics and adventure. Mac’s approach to life emphasizes balancing hard work, recreation, and family values—principles she brings into her role as a coach, mentor, and supporter in the pickleball community.
