Karl Dewazien, formerly Co-Chairman of the National Coaching Committee United States Youth Soccer Association, representing 3.2 million registered players, has also served as State Coaching Director California Youth Soccer Association.

His wide soccer accomplishments include authoring, developing and producing a long list to soccer related instruction, curricula, and clinics listed here:

• Developed and copyrighted “Modified Laws of the Game”
• US Youth Soccer adopts & promotes ‘Modified Laws of the Game’
• US Soccer mandates modified ‘Laws of the Game’ (2017)
• Developed "pre-F", "F", "E", "E/D" and "D" course curriculum adopted by Region 4 (Fourteen Western States in 1981)
• Only youth clinician to do sessions at both the National Soccer; Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and the United States; Youth Soccer Association’s (USYS) Annual General Meetings (A.G.M.’s) in 1996, 1997, and 1998.
• Author of Coaching’s “FUNdamental Soccer” book series
• Author of Players’ FUNdamental Soccer books series
• Co-Author of ‘Miles & Miles of Soccer Smiles’ a program for special needs children
• Author of articles in USA soccer periodical Soccer America; Soccer California; Soccer Journal & Soccer Jr. which have also been translated and published internationally
• Served on Editorial Council, “Soccer Journal,” NSCAA publication and On-Board of Advisers, ‘Soccer Jr.’ Magazine (1998, 1999)
• Created Video clinics “FUNdamental Soccer” series (1978), “Youth Soccer Practices - The FUNdamental Way” series (l997) “FUNdamental Soccer –Practice of Champions “series (2001) DVD clinician – “9-Step Practice Routine” series (2004)
