Dr. Josephine Perry is a Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist dedicated to helping athletes, performers, and leaders accomplish more than they ever believed possible. Drawing on her extensive background in sport psychology, communications, and behavior change, Dr. Perry works with individuals across 28 different sports and high-performance professions, developing mental strategies and skills that drive lasting success.
As the founder of Performance in Mind, Dr. Perry supports elite and amateur athletes worldwide, integrating evidence-based psychological techniques with a practical, humanistic approach. She specializes in helping competitors thrive under pressure, sharpen focus, and build the confidence required to perform at their best.
Dr. Perry holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Ph.D. in Political Communications and MSc degrees in Sport and Exercise Psychology, Psychology, and Communications. She is a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and an active member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), with professional registration through the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
A recognized voice in the field, Dr. Perry is the author of six books, including Performing Under Pressure, The 10 Pillars of Success, and ADHD in Sport. She regularly contributes insights to national media outlets, offering expertise on the mental demands of high performance and the psychological tools needed to meet them.
