Jonny Andrews,
Pickleball Coach

Jonny Andrews’ earned nickname is Jonny Pickleball.

He is a top instructor, a top competing pickleball professional, and a combat arms veteran of the United States Army.

Jonny will be the first one to jokingly say that he played every sport that required him to be 6'8. He was an athlete that lived in South Florida and excelled in every sport. He eventually concentrated more on tennis which led him to become a tennis professional at multiple clubs.

He concurrently attended Florida Gulf Coast University and Studied Resort and Hospitality Management, eventually becoming a Director of Tennis at high-end country clubs and resorts. He then decided in a time of war to enlist in the United States Army as a combat Arms Cavalry Scout where he completed multiple tours of deployment. Once he returned, Jonny went right back into teaching tennis which led him to find pickleball in 2015.

He started teaching pickleball as well as playing professionally. He helped with structuring the IPTPA International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA) and has been certified by multiple organizations. Jonny pioneered pickleball teaching pickleball, becoming one of the first Certified Rating Specialists, and helping write the exam so that others could become certified.

Jonny decided to lead the way in pickleball entertainment by creating the Jonny Pickleball Show in 2017, which still presents and highlights top professional players throughout the world.

He continues to lead camps and clinics, playing on the Professional Pickleball Tour, and utilizes skills from not only his time in the armed services but also pickleball. Jonny has won numerous pro medals throughout his career.

His global travel brings a unique perspective to pickleball, marked by his understanding of working with a wide diverse personalities so that each gets what they need out of a camp or clinic.
