Jonathan Goldfarb,
Senior contributor

After successfully playing and coaching at all levels of the game, from juniors to college to the ATP Tour and adults, Jonathan created consulting services to help him successfully consult all levels of students by packaging his experiences: playing, teaching, life coaching, and mediation background; determination to succeed; expert guides, and diverse skill sets below. Since achieving greatness entails a holistic process of various skills coming together, Jonathan’s background below helps him help players become mentally tougher and assist the coach (if the player has one) by professionalizing all player details, filling in any coaching gaps, and creating as much positive team support as possible.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mind-Body (psychology, physiology and anatomy, and philosophy); a Liberal Arts Masters; and a life coaching and mediation certification

• Personal Experiences learning from top players, coaches, third-party experts, and innovators, including Dr. Jim Loehr, the grandfather of sports psychology.

• His study about seven of the top ten women in the world in 2007, who trained at one club in Russia, and my firsthand experience seeing Russian intensity, specifically with Mrs. Kleybanova and her daughter, Alisa, who reached the top twenty in the world in 2011.

• Practiced with Grand Slam Champion Jennifer Capriati and the Washingtons

• He competed well against David Witt and Michael Russell, respective coaches of Taylor Fritz and Frances Tiafoe, and former world-ranked twenty-player Vince Spadea

• Like Novak and Serena, the two best players ever, he played with great intensity and applied psychological routines that helped me relax on the court and feel happier overall.

• Sparred with world doubles number 1’s Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Corina Morariu

• Being around and/or watching magnificent work ethics like Jay Berger, Mary Pierce, Sofia Kenin, and Pete Sampras inspired me to help others create similar toughness.

• Coached players of all ages and levels including WTA champion Alycia Parks. He co-ran the World Tennis Organization and oversaw player management, parental support, and conflict resolution.

• He works with leading video, data, analytic, and AI companies that scientifically document every possible shot, swing, and strategy in tennis

• He is a student of the game who still competes and believes in lifelong learning

• He is a creator of the 4 Books Series below; Books 2-4 are in process

• Acing It! On the Journey to Your Best You: Jonathan’s first book is about digging deep, being coachable, and following through with your goals through quality on- and off-court decisions.

• Coaching Tennis Mastery: His experiences as a coach helping students of all levels & ages create tennis mastery
