Jena Lynch grew up with a passion for volleyball and believes that team sports are an effective way to enhance not only language learning, but also build communities—her specialty.

As part of her university-based teaching, Ms. Lynch has organized and led volleyball programs for students from countries around the world, developing students' love of volleyball, a sense of belonging, and their English communication skills.

Jena Lynch holds a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Northern Arizona University (USA). She has taught in university-based intensive English programs in the USA, Turkey, and Thailand.

She piloted an English learning program called “Volleyball-based Instruction” in Arizona and hopes to bring this opportunity to the world to help athletes and coaches practice valuable English skills through volleyball content and technique.

She specializes in English for specific purposes, where students learn English skills and vocabulary tailored to a particular context in which they will be using English. Ms. Lynch currently teaches and develops online Aviation English curricula for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University based in Daytona Beach, Florida, USA.
