Jeff Bauer,

Dr. Jeff Bauer has been a professor of Biomechanics over 25 years. He is also a former Division I tennis player and spent almost a decade working as a Aerospace Systems analyst. His research has lead him to work with a wide spectrum of athletes from Olympians to young children learning sport skills or dealing with motor degenerative diseases. His current research is focused on studying the effects on the gait and balance of Parkinson’s patients undergoing high intensity eccentric training of the lower body. His experience along with a degree in computer science and a Ph.D. in Exercise and Sport Science has made him uniquely qualified to embrace and utilize advances in hardware/software in the study of human performance.
