Eric was born and raised in Miami. He won the high school State Championships three years in a row and was the #3 recruited player in the nation going into college. Eric graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Political Science. As the Hurricanes' team captain for 3 years, he holds the school record for the most all-time wins. During his time at UM, Eric became a two-time ACC Champion as well as two-time Big East Champion. His highest ATP Singles ranking was 1195 and 1058 in Doubles.
Eric has been the Director at Royal Palm for the past 12 years, the coach of Venus Williams and former hitting partner for some of the top players in the world: Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, and Serena Williams. He enjoys teaching all levels but specializes in fitness, technique, and strategy at the intermediate to advanced level. Eric has helped develop numeros Division I collegiate athletes and currently has his own advanced academy and teaches clinics for intermediate-advanced kids, the women's leagues, and the men's social teams. He is passionate to help the ladies, men, and Juniors to improve their game and reach their tennis goals.
