Bruce Salzinger Dr.,
Senior Contributor
Dr. Bruce L. Salzinger brings decades of clinical expertise, athletic insight, and community dedication to his role as a contributor to SportsEdTV. A board-certified Chiropractic Sports Physician and Diplomate of the United States Sports Academy, Dr. Salzinger has spent over 30 years advancing the health, performance, and injury recovery of athletes across all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations.
After earning his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, Dr. Salzinger held executive roles in corporate America before pursuing his passion for health and wellness. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 1993 and has since built a thriving practice in Atlanta’s Buckhead neighborhood, serving as a trusted clinician for elite athletes, weekend warriors, and families alike.
Dr. Salzinger’s deep personal connection to sport, as a former competitor in track, cross-country, golf, swimming, and ski racing, has informed his approach to chiropractic care and functional movement. He has served on multiple national and international medical teams, including at the USA Track & Field National Championships and Costa Rica’s National Olympic Games. Notably, he was the first physician in the United States certified in Functional Foot Orthotics by the U.S. Sports Academy.
A published author and motivational speaker, Dr. Salzinger is known for his creative approach to problem-solving and his passionate advocacy for long-term wellness. He remains an active force in the Atlanta community through organizations such as Rotary International, the Georgia Chiropractic Association, and Habitat for Humanity. He has been recognized with several community service awards, including the Exemplary Service to the Buckhead Community Award.
Married for over four decades to Judy, a professor at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Dr. Salzinger is a proud father to Zach and Alix. His practice, Chiropractic Healthcare of Buckhead, remains a cornerstone of holistic care in the Atlanta region.
