Brandon Stooksbury,

Brandon Stooksbury is the Head Professional at the prestigious Metairie Country Club outside New Orleans, Louisiana.
He specializes in competitive player development with a focus on the areas of short-game and putting. Stooksbury students are competing at every level from junior and club golf through the collegiate ranks and professional tours.
Stooksbury is a Class “A” member of the PGA of America with a certification in Teaching and Coaching and carries advanced certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute in Biomechanics, Aim Point Golf in green reading, and US Kids Golf in junior development.
Brandon served as the Director of Instruction for the PGA TOUR Academy at TPC Las Vegas and has previously worked with Golf Digest Top 5 Instructor Jim McLean in Miami, FL.
From 2010 to 2016, Brandon was consistently ranked among the top 5 teachers in his state by Golf Digest and was a member of the magazine’s elite “Best Young Teachers’ list. He has earned multiple PGA honors including the 2015 and 2018 “Teacher of the Year” in Georgia and has been recognized by Golf Tips Magazine as a “Top 25 Instructor” as well as a Top 50 instructor by the Golf Range Association of America.
Brandon’s best-selling books include his first “The Wedge Book: An Owner’s Manual For Your Short Game” which was followed by his second book “The Putter Book: An Owner’s Manual For Your Green Game.”
He is also a regular contributor for Golf Digest Magazine, Golf Illustrated, and GolfTips Magazine in addition to providing regular content for Athletic Motion Golf and now SportsEdTV as a Senior Contributor.
