Antti “Andy” Rintanen, MD, is a physician from Finland with a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. His career spans clinical practice in both public hospitals and private healthcare settings, where he has treated a diverse range of patients and conditions. He also has a strong research background in orthopedic surgery and public health economics, reflecting his commitment to improving health and performance outcomes.
Outside of medicine, Andy has excelled as a martial artist, winning a World Championship title in Taekwon-Do and earning multiple World Cup victories in kickboxing. These accomplishments give him a unique perspective that bridges elite competition with medical science.
As the founder of The Internet Doctor and a SportsEdTV Senior Contributor, Andy is dedicated to making medical knowledge accessible, practical, and easy to apply.
