Abdul Fox, voted by basketball bishop, Dick Vitale as one of America’s top small forwards collegiate careers included NIT and NCAA tournament appearances for the University of Rhode Island.

Drafted in the 2nd round in the CBA and picked by the Pittsburgh Piranhas, Fox was a free agent of Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls and played in the European/International league in Italy, France, Spain, Cyprus, Israel, Switzerland, Venezuela, Taiwan, Dominican Republic, and Turkey.

He began playing basketball in Queens, NY, and was trained by the legendary coach Vincent Smith older brother of TNT analysts and NBA Champ Kenny Smith. Fox obtained a full scholarship to a prestigious prep school called Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA. He was named first team all New England leading the men’s basketball to a New England Championship his senior year

He earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Rhode Island in Early Childhood Development and a Minor in African American History and received the President’s Award for superior academic achievement in African American History.
