HANG POWER SNATCH

of the hips and knees along with plantar flexion propels the bar upward. At the conclusion of the extension, the arms bend and the shoulders shrug generating the maximum speed of the bar. Once the full extension is achieved, the feet can move out to the squatting stance as the athlete drops under the bar while simultaneously pushing on the bar. The drop is stopped as soon as the elbows are extended by halting the bending of the knees. The recovery is controlled.
