SNATCH ON TOES
Learn weightlifting techniques from coach Bob Takano, USA weightlifting Hall-of-Famer and National team coach. The exercise begins with the athlete in the same position as the finale of the snatch high pulls.
The weight that can be used is relatively light. The only elevation of the bar is performed by
upward pull of the arms.
At that point, the athlete drops rapidly into the full squat by skimming the feet and
...
pulling and
pushing with the arms. The drop under the bar is facilitated by both hip flexion and the rapid
pressing movement of the arms. The stand to an upright position is controlled.
