SportsEdTV has expanded its influence in the name, image and likeness (NIL) world as industry leader Bill Carter adds his expertise to the online leader in sports education as a senior contributor.

"The parents and young athletes in our communities will enjoy the direct benefit of Bill Carter's 25 years of working in the marketplace of name, image, and likeness, before college and high school athletes were allowed to earn income from their notoriety," said Robert Mazzucchelli, Co-Founder, and Chairman, SportsEdTV.

Carter’s consultancy Student-Athlete Insights conducts the largest ongoing survey of student-athletes. Every month, he gathers data from a community of 5,000 student-athletes in 24 sports in NCAA Divisions I, II, III, the NAIA, and prospective student-athletes. “The survey gives college sports stakeholders an in-the-moment NIL temperature gauge that has served to install him as a go-to resource for many of the stakeholders, at every level—admins, brands, parents, coaches, and athletes," added Victor Bergonzoli, CEO SportsEdTV.

He uses the data and his experience to help brands and sports organizations navigate the changing NIL landscape. In addition, Carter has developed and published a series of online, on-demand NIL courses for parents, student-athletes, and other cohorts.

Carter's NIL in College Sports course at the University of Vermont's Grossman School of Business is widely considered among the leading courses in this new and important subject. In addition, he serves as an Advisory Board member at The Shirley Povich Center for Sports Journalism at the Phillip Merrill College of Journalism University of Maryland.

About SportsEdTV: SportsEdTV exists to help athletes, coaches and parents LEARN, WIN, and CELEBRATE. We don't expect everyone who uses our learning tools to become a world champion - that's not our mission.

We do expect people who use our educational resources to become their champions, by whatever definition they view success in their chosen sport. For some, success is making the varsity team, for others, it's becoming country champion, and for others still, it may simply be gaining proficiency at a sport that offers a lifetime of fun and fitness. “

To us, no matter your aspirations in sport, if you are striving to improve, you are winning! As a leading sports education media company, we provide FREE video and blog content to anyone in the world with an internet connection.

We also offer a global online community, where athletes, parents, and coaches can interact, connect, chat, share content and find new friends. SportsEdTV videos feature coaching from world-class coaches and athletes - many of whom are or have coached world champions - and have been watched by viewers in every country in the world.
