Soccer Pro Turned eSports Leader Will Contribute to SportsEdTV
SportsEdTV has begun to expand its coaching influence by adding eSports Academy founder Caleb Smith to its cadre of senior contributors. Smith was a professional soccer goalie before converting his expertise to a lifelong gaming avocation.
“Caleb is the CEO and Founder of CVS Entertainment and The Triangle eSports Academy and a North Carolina Contender eSports practice and learning facility," said Robert Mazzucchelli, Founder, and Chairman of SportsEdTV.
His eSports Academy was opened in October 2020 and the facilities are dedicated to building character and life and competition skills development through productive video gaming.
“To understand the potential of the gaming and eSports realm, Caleb Smith points to industry projections that put the eSports ecosystem on track to surpass $1.8 billion in revenue in 2022, and that represents important opportunities to several levels of our audiences which are comprised of competitors, coaching, administrators and parents,” added Victor Bergonzoli, CEO SportsEdTV.
Smith's Contender facility allows top-grade practice facilities for eSports competitive teams and The Academy has youth teams with emphasis on Apex Legends, Fortnite, and Valorant platforms.
