SportsEdTV Appoints Renee’ Brown to Board of Directors
Miami, Florida Apr 27, 2021 - SportsEdTV has appointed Renee’ Brown to its Board of Directors. She joins an elite group of seven board members who are helping the SportsEdTV management team build the leading brand in online sports education. Renee’ brings decades of leadership experience and will be instrumental in providing insights and action to the company as it builds its global brand.
“Renee’ is one of those people who just bring positive energy and can-do spirit to everything she touches,” said Co-Founder & Chairman, Robert Mazzucchelli. He added, “She has demonstrated her leadership and management capability consistently through all of her achievements over decades, from collegiate coaching to USA Basketball to the WNBA. Everything she touches gets better. We expect the same will happen with her involvement in SportsEdTV.”
“SportsEdTV is unique in the world of online sports coaching,” said Renee’ Brown. “First of all, they offer free resources - videos, blogs, community, and a local coaching directory. And the content is so fantastic. It features top coaches and athletes, filmed in the highest possible quality. SportsEdTV helps athletes of all levels, it helps parents and it helps coaches, too. I have not seen another company succeeding as well on such an ambitious mission. I can’t wait to dig in and help this team make a difference in the life of so many athletes across the globe,” Brown added.
Brown is now Head of Executive Engagement at Ready Team, a diversity-equity-inclusion consultancy Previously, she spent twenty years at the WNBA, where she was a pioneer in building the league and shaping the personnel development process that now serves over one thousand players from over fifty countries. Prior to the WNBA, Brown spent sixteen years at USA Basketball, where she worked with the women’s national team that won six gold medals over the past twenty years, a record-breaking feat in women’s sports. Early in her career, she was an assistant college basketball coach at the University of Kentucky and Stanford University, which won the NCAA crown during her tenure in 1990.
About SportsEdTV: SportsEdTV exists to help athletes, coaches and parents LEARN, WIN, and CELEBRATE. We don’t expect everyone who uses our learning tools to become a world champion - that’s not our mission. We do expect people who use our educational resources to become their own champions, by whatever definition they view success in their chosen sport. For some, success is making the varsity team, for others, it’s becoming country champion, and for others still, it may simply be gaining proficiency at a sport that offers a lifetime of fun and fitness. To us, no matter your aspirations in sport, if you are striving to improve, you are winning! As a leading sports education media company, we provide FREE video and blog content to anyone in the world with an internet connection. We also offer a global online community — where athletes, parents, and coaches can interact, connect, chat, share content and find new friends — and a global directory of facilities and coaches. SportsEdTV videos feature coaching from world-class coaches and athletes - many of whom are or have coached world champions - and have been watched by viewers in every country in the world.
