SportsEdTV Appoints Matt Makovsky to Advisory Board
Miami, June 6, 2018 - SportsEdTV has appointed Matt Makovsky, Chief Executive of New York-based innovation consultancy, Skylabs, and Chief Strategy Officer of Makovsky, a leading independent integrated marketing company, to its Advisory Board. With this appointment, Makovsky joins a board whose members are uniquely qualified to advise the senior management team of Miami-based SportsEdTV, which is launching its new website this coming July.
“Matt brings several important areas of insight to SportsEdTV,” said Chairman and Chief Marketing Officer Robert Mazzucchelli, “because he was a collegiate athlete, and he’s a first-rate marketer, and he’s an innovation specialist.” He added, “Sports, marketing and innovation are the cornerstones of our business, so its a perfect fit.”

In addition to his dual leadership roles at Skylabs and Makovsky, Makovsky was Manager of Strategy, Marketing and Business Development at the National Football League from 2007 to 2009. Prior to the NFL, he worked in Hill & Knowlton’s sports marketing practice in London from 2005 to 2007, where he focused on Olympic Games sponsorship activation.
