Ph.D., Coach, CEO, and UVA’s First Black Female Scholarship Athlete Is SportsEdTV Senior Contributor
Miami, Jun 30, 2020 - SportsEdTV’s appointment of Dr. Deborah Stroman, athlete, coach and racial equity advocate/educator is the newest addition to SportsEdTV’s directory of Senior Contributors.
“Adding Dr. Stroman is very timely given the intensity of social pressures permeating the world of sports,” said Robert Mazzucchelli, Founder and Chairman of SportsEdTV.
As University of Virginia’s first Black scholarship female athlete where she captained the basketball team and as the first Black female coach at the University of North Carolina, Dr. Stroman, today instructs UNC graduate students in racial equity and racism analysis.
“Debbie is a familiar face on court and in board rooms and our users will benefit immensely from life and play lessons she’s going to FREELY share in her SportsEdTV contributions,” adds Victor Bergonzoli, SportsEdTV CEO.
Dr. Stroman is the founder and CEO of the Center of Sports Business and Analytics which hosts the nationally-recognized, SPEIA Basketball Analytics Summit.
“The ability to message athletes and sportsmen and women all over the world via SportsEdTV is exciting and opportune, especially as sports everywhere are in the midst of dramatic changes,” Dr. Stroman said.
