Miami, Florida Nov 8, 2021 SportsEdTV added a powerful international influencer, Dr. Sarah Hillyer, to its class of senior contributors.

Dr. Hillyer, founder of The Center for Sport, Peace, and Society at The University of Tennessee and leader of the U.S. State Department's Global Sports Mentoring Program (GSMP) has accepted our invitation to contribute and we could not be prouder to associate with such a significant personality and leader in women’s sports,” said SportsEdTV Founder and Chairman, Robert Mazzucchelli.

As an educator and consultant with more than 30 years of experience, Dr. Hillyer worked with the U.S.  State Department, United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, Islamic Federation of Women’s Sports, National Hockey League, National Basketball Association, PGA of America, Women’s Tennis Association, Google, Procter & Gamble, Saatchi & Saatchi, and National Paralympic & Olympic Committees.

“Sarah Hillyer’s contributions to the world of sportswomen have rippled through over 80 countries, impacting thousands, using sports as a medium to inspire, mentor and lead and with the State Department’s program earned the Stuart Scott Humanitarian award in 2018, and in the same year, Prince Albert of Monaco (Peace & Sport) recognized the GSMP as “Best Diplomatic Accomplishment” of 2018, testimony to how admired she is,” added Victor Bergonzoli, CEO SportsEdTV.

Dr. Hillyer received her doctoral degree in the Sociocultural Study of Sports from the University of Tennessee in 2010. She holds a master’s degree in Sport Psychology from Murray State University and a BA in Sports Administration from Liberty University. She was a division I NCAA basketball player at Virginia Tech.

About SportsEdTVSportsEdTV exists to help athletes, coaches and parents LEARN, WIN, and CELEBRATE. We don't expect everyone who uses our learning tools to become a world champion - that's not our mission.

We do expect people who use our educational resources to become their champion, by whatever definition they view success in their chosen sport. For some, success is making the varsity team, for others, it’s becoming country champion, and for others still, it may simply be gaining proficiency at a sport that offers a lifetime of fun and fitness. “

To us, no matter your aspirations in sport, if you are striving to improve, you are winning! As a leading sports education media company, we provide FREE video and blog content to anyone in the world with an internet connection.

We also offer a global online community, where athletes, parents, and coaches can interact, connect, chat, share content and find new friends. SportsEdTV videos feature coaching from world-class coaches and athletes - many of whom are or have coached world champions - and have been watched by viewers in every country in the world.
