Up & Back shooting is a great way to improve your shot, and more importantly, improve your conditioning. In a basketball game, a players body is constant motion which results in tiring over time. This affects a players ability to shoot with accuracy and sustain the effort needed to be a contributing member on the floor. Up and back shooting helps players get their heart rate going to comparable game speeds while pushing the player to get a certain number of shots up in a given amount of time.
