Olympian and Skating Visionary Bill Fauver Joins SportsEdTV as Senior Contributor

SportsEdTV is proud to announce the addition of Bill Fauver, U.S. Olympian and globally respected figure skating professional, as a Senior Contributor. With a career that spans elite athletic performance, international coaching, event production, and innovation in athlete safety, Bill brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the SportsEdTV community.
A principal performer in world-renowned tours such as Stars on Ice, Torvill and Dean’s World Tour, and The John Curry Company, Bill has graced the world stage as an athlete and artist. His transition from Olympic-level skater to international coach and event director marks a lifelong dedication to figure skating.
Bill has held leadership and advisory roles with U.S. Figure Skating, the Professional Skaters Association, and the STAR Board, helping guide the evolution of skating programs nationwide. He has directed major events including the Pacific/Midwestern Synchronized Team Championships and Skate Nashville, as well as producing Extravaganza on Ice in partnership with the Nashville Chamber Orchestra.
But Bill’s contributions to skating go beyond performance and administration.
He founded CoachFax, a nonprofit organization created to protect youth athletes by promoting transparency and accountability in coaching. CoachFax is a pioneering initiative that addresses the urgent need for safety and oversight in youth sports, aligning with SportsEdTV’s commitment to empowering athletes and families through trusted resources.
In 2009, Bill also patented the Variable Flexion Sports Boot, an innovation designed to improve athletic performance and reduce injury. This underscored his long-term dedication to athlete care and sport-specific technology.
As a PSA Master Rated Coach (Level V), Bill has coached at the University of Delaware, the Broadmoor World Arena, and currently at the Nashville Skating Academy. He has trained singles, pairs, and hockey athletes at the highest levels and also served as Associate Producer for CBS’s figure skating coverage, including the 1992 Albertville Olympic Games.
“We are honored to welcome Bill to our team,” said Victor Bergonzoli, Co-Founder and CEO of SportsEdTV. “His holistic view of sport, from performance to protection, and from creativity to coaching, makes him an invaluable resource to our global audience.”
Bill Fauver will contribute expert insights, video instruction, and educational content on figure skating and athlete safety, helping SportsEdTV advance its mission to educate and inspire through world-class resources.
