MIAMI, August 19, 2026 — SportsEdTV announced today that certified high-performance coach Abdul Sillah has joined its international team of contributors.
Sillah has worked with some of the most accomplished athletes in professional sports, including tennis champions Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Naomi Osaka, Sloane Stephens and Bianca Andreescu. His experience also extends beyond tennis to professional football, baseball, boxing, golf, speed skating, rugby, basketball and soccer.
As a SportsEdTV contributor, Sillah will focus on mental toughness and the relationship between physical preparation, confidence and competitive performance. His content will help athletes and coaches understand how disciplined training and mental preparation can support performance under pressure.
“Abdul has spent his career helping exceptional athletes prepare for the moments when physical ability alone is not enough,” said Victor Bergonzoli, CEO of SportsEdTV. “His understanding of mental toughness, confidence and high-performance preparation will bring tremendous value to athletes and coaches throughout the SportsEdTV community.”
Sillah’s coaching philosophy emphasizes understanding the individual behind the athlete. He believes that trust, humility and mental discipline are essential ingredients in helping athletes reach their potential and perform consistently at the highest level.
“I am excited to join SportsEdTV and share the principles I have developed while working with athletes across many different sports,” said Sillah. “Mental toughness is not something reserved for champions. It can be developed, trained, and strengthened by any athlete willing to learn and do the work.”
