The body is divided into 3 main regions: Head “Olgul”, Trunk “Momtong” and and the lower body part “Arae”. “Makki” is the name of the block in Korean. So we mainly have three Basic blocks: Arae Makki, Momtong Makki and Olgil Makki.
We can use the same block for each of the 3 body regions. This leads to a large array of blocking positions, either with hands or with legs. Also blocks could be different according to the feet position (Stance) and body height.
