FAKE & DRAG - Winning Foot Skills 2 • Semi-Pro. In this Foot Skills drill number 2, Former MLS player, Troy Edwards, again uses lateral movement adding an outside motion to the drag of the ball back inside of the body. As in progression 1, only a ball and a small amount of space is needed for this foot skill exercise. With knees slightly bent so one has a lower ...center of gravity, the player begins with the ball between their feet. Start by taking two touches with the inside of both feet, then follow with using the soul of the foot to push the ball away from the body, then quickly cutting back to the other foot. It is essential that these foot skills are worked on a daily basis before your team training in a small space on or off the field.
