It's time to Parti with the Nardi! Always missing those low volleys and hitting them in the net? Today's tip is something I learned from my good friend and mentor, Oscar Weagner. Veronika Miroshnichenko, our favorite WTA player, demonstrates how you how to come across the ball to get them over the net when playing a low volley. Always make sure you're in a Continental grip to volley as it perfectly sets the angle of the racquet.

Here is a different way to practice and improve your toss when serving. Find a basketball hoop and toss it up in the hoop. It will give you a sense of height and a target to aim for on where you exactly need the ball to be at contact. Most elementary schools have basketball hoops at different heights if you need something lowing the a normal 10 foot hoop. My go-to song is Janet Jackson's Control. Have some fun with this.
