LATERAL MOTION - Ladder to Success 2, Ages 14-16 In Progression 2, UEFA Coach Henry Taramona focuses on a player's lateral and explosive movements and jumping ... skills. As in Progression 1, all a player needs is a speed & agility ladder, if available, starting at the first square. Although now, the player will be facing towards the square on the side of the ladder. He or she will start by taking two quick steps in the square and then two steps out before going to the next. Make sure their form is consistent and their arms are kept close to their body moving in a natural running movement. This drill is recommended before practice every other day for 10-15 minutes.
