LADDER TO SUCCESS 2 - AGILITY DRILLS FOR SEMI-PRO PLAYERS
LADDER TO SUCCESS 2 - Agility Drills For Semi-Pro Players Former MLS player, Troy Edwards, teaches Speed and Agility Ladder to Success Progression 2. In this ... exercise, we are going to incorporate backward and lateral movement. This is very important when coming to defending a player with the ball in a game. Balance is vastly important, and this drill isolates the stability when changing directions. The player will start by jumping in the square with both feet landing simultaneously, then stepping to the right outside of the ladder landing on the right foot holding balance until going to the next square with both feet. He or she will then progress to the left foot on the other side of the ladder. To become proficient in this skill, it is recommended that a player works with the ladder everyday for at least 10 minutes.
