To improve speed and agility, exercise 1 helps with explosive moments and sharp cutting, which are all necessary for a soccer player. A player will begin on the side of the ladder facing the first square. Starting with their left foot, the player will take one step in the square, and then two steps out on top. He or she will then place right foot in the adjacent square and both feet out behind, repeating this throughout the ladder. We recommend every soccer player to use the ladder 10 minutes a day, if available.
