TENNIS BALL DRAG RACE. Coach Cedric Carter demonstrates a drill to help you work on your read and reaction time. You will stand a couple of feet in front of your partner. Your partner will have two tennis ball in their stretched out hands. Make sure that you are chopping your feet as quickly as possible, and once your partner drops the tennis balls out of one of their hands, go get it off the bounce. When you see the ball being released out of your partner’s hands, you want to make sure you push forward explosively in the direction ...of the bounced ball and catching it before it hits the ground a second time.
