Stephen Arnold,

Stephen Arnold is a PGA Golf Teaching Professional at the Longboat Key Club and Florida Golf Performance Center. He played collegiate golf at East Tennessee State University and Villanova

University. Stephen played professionally for three years before focusing on a career in teaching, and has been a full-time instructor since 2012.

Stephen blends the use of technology and club fitting with his understanding of the game, course management and analytics to develop individual programs for all his clients. A Certified Master Fitter with Callaway Golf and an Edel certified fitter, Stephen has certifications in club fitting from putter to driver. He has advanced certifications from Trackman, Kmotion 3D, SAM Puttlab Level II and TPI Level II.

“I’ve always invested in myself to be the best coach for my players” says Stephen, “whether it’s advanced study, or utilizing the most innovative technology to assess and help any student at any level.”

Using his strong playing background to guide his instructional programs, he has immersed himself in every aspect of the game. His ability to help students understand both where they can improve and how to do it, is the basis of his success. Stephen works with golfers from the age of 6 to 93 and from complete beginners to touring professionals.

Stephen was awarded North Florida PGA, SWC ‘Teacher of the Year’ award in 2019 and SWC ‘Player of the Year’ in 2018,2019 and 2020, and has presented at multiple PGA Teaching & Coaching summits.
